Looks like the exe and scr files in the Release folder won’t work for me either (they blow up with the same error when running them). It might just be my computer, though — I’ve got an HP laptop with an ATI X200 in it (yes, latest drivers), so its pretty pitiful.

I’m getting an InvalidOperationException on line 56 of ParticleDrawer.cs (mVertexDeclaration = new VertexDeclaration(…)) as soon as the debugger starts running the program.

i get this error when compiling the source:

C:\gamedev\xna\kyle\ParticleLife\Resources.resx(123,5): error MSB3103: Invalid Resx file. Could not find file ‘C:\gamedev\xna\kyle\ParticleLife\bin\x86\Release\Content\back.xnb’. Line 123, position 5.
